Would you like to become a member of the Orchestra?
How nice that you are interested in the Orchestra! We currently have several vacancies. We are looking for a leader for our cellos , but we also have room for good tutti strings, tuba, bass clarinet and oboe.
As a string player you can always come and play a few rehearsals. As a wind player you can register and then we will look at the possibilities. If you want to become a member of the Orchestra you have to audition .
Auditing
Unless otherwise stated, auditions consist of a self-chosen recital piece and a few pieces from an orchestral part. Read more about auditioning in our regulations.
Play along
Artistic quality, conviviality and enjoyment of music are paramount to the Orchestra. Mutual solidarity and therefore presence and preparation form the foundation for this. Read more about playing along in our regulations.
Rehearse
The Orchestra rehearses every Tuesday evening from 20:00 to 22:30 in The Edge , Fred Roesk estraat 100 in Amsterdam. Before each concert we have a rehearsal weekend in or outside Amsterdam.
