Wanted: cello leader
We are looking for a cello leader who meets the following requirements, starting in November 2024:

Is a good cellist, who has a good command of the orchestral parts and is a team player.

Can communicate well with all the orchestra leaders and the conductor.

Has leadership skills towards the cello group.

Takes the lead in interpreting the cello parts in close consultation with the concertmaster and other string section leaders.

Is/becomes a member of "the Orchestra" and is in principle present at every rehearsal.
-
Actively participates in the Orchestra in thinking about policy and implementation.
Selection procedure
The selection procedure for our new cello leader consists of a test performance and an additional interview.
The selection committee will consist of: the concertmaster, a member of the cello group, another principal string section, the conductor, a member of the board.
